Thai Time with Nat – Choo Chee Curry with Salmon & Scallops

Curious about how to make fresh Thai curry from scratch? You’re in luck! Our Thai home chef extraordinaire, Natalie Jordan, of Nat Kitchen N Snack Bar will prepare a four- course Thai dinner using fresh Thai herbs and ingredients.

Join Nat on May 14 where she will show the basics, from preparing and blending Thai herbs and spices for a delicious Choo Chee curry paste, to splitting a coconut, preparing the nut meat, and making fresh coconut milk. You’ll go home with Natalie’s homemade Choo Chee curry paste and the evening’s dinner recipes.

Four-Course Thai Dinner Menu:

  • Mushroom Curry Puff Thai Style (กะหรี่พัฟเห็ด)

  • Choo Chee Curry with Salmon & Scallops (แกงฉู่ฉี่ปลาแซลม่อน)

  • Her famous Southern Thai Rice Salad (ข้าวยำปักษ์ใต้) using her mother’s unique recipe

  • Water Chestnut in Coconut Milk Jelly (วุ้นกะทิทับทิมกรอบ)

  • Thai Beer, Wine and Tea will accompany each course
